CGW 4-Hour Basic Pistol - License to Carry Class

Cost: $100
Description: You will receive the required Mass State Police Certificate which allows you to apply for and FID or LTC in MA. You will learn about firearm safety, use, storage, and applicable laws. This course meets current minimum standards in Massachusetts and we recommend completing additional educational classes once your LTC has been obtained.
What to Bring: Notepad or similar device if you want to take notes

Prerequisites: None (All skill levels welcome) You can take this course as a refresher even if you currently have your MA LTC.

CGW 4-Hour Basic Pistol (Live Fire) - License to Carry Class

Cost: $150
Description: You will receive the required Mass State Police Certificate which allows you to apply for and FID or LTC in MA. You will also receive the NRA 4-hour Home Firearm Safety Certificate. This half-day course starts with theory and discussion and concludes with hands-on shooting exercises at a local shooting range. Course price includes ammunition and the use of class handguns.
What to Bring: Notebook, eye & ear protection.
Location: Local Range
Prerequisites: None (All skill levels welcome) You can take this course as a refresher even if you currently have your MA LTC.

CGW AR-15 Build Class

Date: Sunday May 22nd 11AM – 3PM
Cost: Starting at $843.52 (includes basic optics-ready rifle, parts, lower, as well as instructor time. Does not include other optional accessories and upgrades)
Description: Students will have hands-on instruction from one of the region's top AR-15 gurus with the complete assembly of your very own AR-15. You start the course with a box of parts and you will leave with a working AR-15. There may be MA-compliance work needed for certain configurations requiring additional time and/or machine work. This class is for the beginner or intermediate levels. You will definitely learn something from this course. Total course time is about 4-5 hours. Class size is limited to ensure high instructor interaction.
What to Bring: Rolled up sleeves and a positive attitude

Utah Non-Resident Concealed Carry Class (4-Hour)

Date: Sunday June 12th 11AM – 3PM (Call for future dates as well)
Cost: $100
Description: Course instructions, handouts, fingerprinting and all required paperwork to obtain your Utah non-resident concealed carry permit. What to Bring: Notebook and your fingers ready to get inked up. Location: CGW Classroom 5 (Upstairs) at 145 Barnstable Rd, Hyannis MA 02601

NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course (PPiH)

Cost: $175
Description: This is an eight-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law, and experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm) to maximize what can be learned from this course. Proof of shooting experience can be one of the following: NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card, military DD 214 with pistol qualification, or passing the Pre-Course Assessment.

CGW Advanced Pistol Class

Cost: $250
Description: This course is for those who are comfortable shooting handguns, have a current MA LTC. Emphasis will be on semi-automatic handguns, but you can use a revolver if that's your primary carry-gun.
Topics include: drawing from the holster, concealment, self-defense tactics, malfunction clearing, shooting from un-orthodox shooting positions, speed, accuracy, cognitive drills, and more.
What to Bring: Pistol and approximately 350 rounds of range ammo, 3 magazines, holster, eye & ear protection, along with your typically-stocked range bag. Round count can be adjusted up or down depending on ammo availability.
Location: One of the local ranges on Cape Cod
Prerequisites: CGW Basic or NRA PPIH or equivalent, valid MA LTC

CGW Half-Day Basic Carbine Class

Date: To Be Announced
Cost: $150 Description: Intro to basic carbine handling and manipulation with focus on the common AR-15 platform. This is primarily a hands-on class at a local range. Concepts will include sighting and optics, proper grip, sling usage, reloading, clearing malfunctions, shooting from standing, kneeling, prone, balance of speed & precision, etc.
What to Bring: carbine with at least 3 mags and about 250 rounds of ammo
Location: Local range
Prerequisites: valid MA LTC, basic knowledge of firearms
